about

I am a pattern and illustration designer based in Los Angeles. “eyeseepatterns” means seeing endless textures, shapes and forms in everything. I am constantly inspired by the visuals around me — film photography, music and landscapes. As Diana Vreeland said, “the eye has to travel”, I (eye) see bold combinations and quirky prints.

experience

My work experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of the junior, kids, missy and contemporary markets. More recently I have work experience with quilting and bolt fabric production, furthering my experiences in producing fabric collections both traditionally via screen-printing and digitally. I am proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator, as well as basic Mac/PC skills. With an eye for color, I love researching on print and fashion trends and creating trend and concept boards.

BFA Textile Design
San Francisco, CA
Sept 2013 - Aug 2018

I have a formal training in traditional silkscreen and worked as a textile lab technician while obtaining my textile design degree. Therefore I understand the process of color separation, screen limitations, pigment mixing and color payoffs. Through my studies, I learned to work with various fabrics and materials, which gave me a love for experimenting with fabrics.
